Nobody likes to see the words “A Trojan Was Found On You Computer!” appear but, unfortunately, I have seen it far too many times. That, paired with the multitude of adware and spyware programs which find their way onto many computers, are enough to drive a person crazy. And, more importantly, they can be very dangerous to your identity and credit.

You need to surf the internet safely and securely otherwise you are just asking for a world of trouble because there are too many people who would love to take advantage of your unsecure internet connection. For that reason, it is absolutely imperative that you have a good anti-virus program on your computer these days. You are out in the cold, naked and vulnerable, if you don’t have one. You have numerous options, McAfee and Norton being the most popular, but whichever you choose make sure it offers every aspect of protection; Spyware and Adware protection, Anti-virus protection and, ideally, a firewall.

Taking these responsible steps can at least help to create a safer internet surfing experience, but it’s still never a guarantee. Surf safely!
